architecture+ provided design services for this new residential development project. It will add considerable value to the City of Oneonta by providing needed workforce and supportive housing. Fourteen units of supportive housing will be set aside for individuals in recovery. The project includes the construction of nine new buildings with a total of 70,000 square feet in a 6.4 acre neighborhood of eight-plex cottages.

The neighborhood features a new through-street, surface parking, pedestrian walkways, landscaped areas, children’s play area, site amenities, and site services. The nine buildings include eight two–story apartment buildings and one single-story community building. Each of the eight apartment buildings will contain eight apartments with a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. The community building will include a central coin-operated laundry room and various community spaces as well as management offices, storage, and support areas.
