J. Michael Bergen

Michael has worked on a variety of building types with the majority in the higher education and healthcare markets in the public sector. His experience ranges from the design of new administration and academic buildings to minor renovation projects. Michael is also responsible for managing our term contract assignments with the State University Construction Fund as well as serving as Principal-in-Charge for many of those projects. 

Prior to joining architecture+, Michael worked for two years in the building trades as a carpenter foreman and site superintendent. This experience has fostered a commitment to economically sound construction techniques and strict adherence to cost and schedule controls.
