architecture+ designed this new satellite primary care facility for Nathan Littauer Hospital. Located on a semi-rural site, the one-story, 10,000 square foot facility serves the regional population. It offers primary care services, women's health services, including ultrasound, and occupational health services. In addition, it serves as a center for phlembotomy for the surrounding region.

The facility was designed to take advantage of natural light and bucolic views on the site. Windows can be seen at the end of every hallway and at all of the nurse's stations. Windows were also installed in each exam room but with the sills at six feet high. This prevents the need for the installation of window shades to provide privacy and takes advantage of natural lighting which helps reduce the building’s overall energy usage.
