Minnewaska Hall Renovation

SUNY New Paltz|New Paltz, New York
Minnewaska Hall is the third of five existing, 210-bed residence halls on the Peregrine Quad at SUNY New Paltz to be renovated by architecture+. The $16.1 million renovation continues in the same design style as its sibling residence halls Ashokan and Shawangunk.
Project Type:

Interiors
Residence Life
Student Housing
Sustainability
Cost:
$16.1 million (construction)

While utilizing the architectural principals established for the other Peregrine renovations, Minnewaska Hall has unique exterior design elements and new interior design to establish its own identity. To facilitate the challenge of the seven month construction duration, this project was bid early to allow for a six month pre-construction period to afford the contractor time to complete submittals and plan for the quick construction pace required for this renovation.
