J. Michael Bergen

Michael Bergen joined architecture+ in 1984 after three years in the building trades, including work as a carpentry foreman and site superintendent. This work has led to his commitment to economically sound construction techniques and strict adherence to cost and schedule controls.

While at architecture+, Michael has been responsible for a wide range of projects, from initial development and planning through construction. These projects have ranged in scale and complexity from a small studio addition for a painter, to development of a master plan for a 400-bed state psychiatric center with over 25 buildings. Michael has responsibility for staff placement and scheduling.
